Wilshire Boxes are the complete wall-mounted planter solution. The ingenious mounting brackets are attached to the wall using a template, and the boxes set onto the bracket and screwed into place. The mounting system disappears into the back of the planter. The simple fiberglass design highlights the plants, not the planter. The boxes, available in three different size ranges, are also available without the bracketing system for use on the floor or ground (see Wilshire Collection). Each box comes complete with a drainage adapter to either channel the drainage away from the box or to connect drainage plumbing. For a turnkey wall-mounted planter system, utilize Planter Technology's AutoFill automatic or CWM Manual container irrigation system.

Features of the Wilshire Box System

The Wilshire Box installation process is simple - use the template to mark the anchor hole locations. The smaller Wilshire Boxes (10x12 and 12x18) take 2 anchors per bracket, the larger (18x24) takes 3. Drill the anchor holes, then install the brackets. Install the washers on the stainless steel stud, then slide the box onto the bracket support. Push the studs on the bracket through the back, put on the washers and thread tight. Despite the presence of the washers, we recommend caulk or waterproofing over the stud assembly to ensure that water doesn't get out the back of the box.

Intermediate length boxes also available for additional charge. Full weight includes brackets (5.5lbs for WBB-1012, 6 lbs. for WBB-1218, 6.5 lbs. for WBB-1824), soil estimated at 50 lbs/pcf.

Brackets – Powder coated steel or stainless steel brackets with stainless steel studs, include all parts to attach planters to brackets. WBB-1012 and WBB-1218 brackets have 1 mounting stud and 2 ea. 1/2" bolt holes, the WBB-1824 brackets have 2 mounting studs and 3 ea. 1/2" bolt holes. Brackets powder coated in black, additional charge for other colors. Custom bracket designs are available for alternative mounting designs.

Mounting Templates – Available for use with any of the Wilshire Box sizes. Can also be customized for specific applications.

Drainage Adapters – One unit standard with each box. Additional double-sided thread x thread or slip x thread connections for drain lines from 1/2" up to 4". May be connected at any point on the container.
